Things that made me smile today...

I ran the Winterthur Laufsportag, a race I really enjoyed last year but not so much this year thanks to the compacted snow/sheet ice conditions. However, I did smile broadly as I finished as I managed to find some energy and overtake a couple of people in the finishing strait.
My prize was rather lovely too. Last year it was a sausage, cheese and pear bread platter.

And more smiles later when we went to visit friends for a takeaway curry. Visiting Z and A always makes me smile as they're lovely and have the two more adorable mad girls aged 3 and 5.
