Not sure if this is someone's name or a country near the Ukraine?

And the only photo of me in full flow at the Cabaret last night. I so love singing!
Other smiles today -
A longer run (still quite slow and just 3.5 miles but better than nothing!)
I found my sunglasses.
Lots of dry washing.
A glass of wine whilst making dinner.

A busy day! Two summer fayres and a cabaret, not to mention unpacking from my course on Friday.
Pictures of the day!

A day that starts with churros y chocolate is guaranteed to make me smile...
Also on offer for breakfast (amongst many other things!) tortilla de patatas, leche frita and tarta de Santiago.
especially when accompanied by a copy of El País reporting a freak hail storm causing whiteout and traffic chaos in Madrid whilst London boils!
Just like being in Spain :)
Isaac's report is excellent and made me smile very broadly at the lovely comments about his attitude effort and achievements this year.
My course went well I think (feedback was good!) and I arrived home safely without delay or mishap.
And collapsing on the sofa is proving a great idea!

Smiles at being given a "welcome cava" on arrival at my hotel in Londin. In fact, the entire hotel was very smile inducing!
As a vertigo sufferer, the wall to ceiling glass was a bit of a challenge but surmountable if you left the net curtains shut.
And the food! Delicioso.

Isaac is home! Loving his T-shirt made by his host family with all their handprints and his on it. A great idea!
Smiles at having a morning to catch up on things at work as Year 6 were (mostly) at their secondary schools. And more sunshine.
And I woke to find that John had been further retweeted overnight. He's a bit disgruntled that he only gained two followers after all the 'kerfuffle.'
Jude made me smile by staking his claim to stay on the mattress on the floor for one more night - Isaac wasn't really bothered as he's been up since 4am and was too tierce to care!
Now for sleep!

Meet Rodrigo Botones, a lovely surprise from Little Linguist. A great hit with Jude, and also with the children who saw him emerge from the parcel.
Señor Brócoli caused more smiles this morning. Year 4 'fed' him and were very serious in their health advice.
Break time duty was improved by sunshine and year 2 'visiting' the big playground to see what life will be like in September.
And multiple smiles at the Twitter storm caused by John's tweet about the score being put on the train signs at Zürich HB - retweets, queries as to whether it was a fake, discussions in German and more.
